在美國旅游的時候，如果選擇旅行社，基本上都是走馬觀花，旅行社開車帶你到一個地方，之后給你10分鐘的自由活動時間，然后再開到下一個景點。因此，在這期間游客能做的事情就只有拍幾張照片而已。但如果選擇自助游，感覺就完全不同了，觀光的時間可以自行支配，所以總能觀賞到很別致的景色，當然也會有些累。不過只要計劃好路線，將目的地的幾個景點串起來，之后尋找一條最佳路線，就可以擁有一個愉快充實的旅行了。
