用方便、快捷形容美國人買藥，大多數(shù)人不會提出異議。殊不知，這只是針對非處方藥而言。買處方藥的可就復(fù)雜多了，除了出示處方，還要帶著身份證明。美國對處方藥的管理非常嚴格，如果藥店沒有處方就出售處方藥，或者醫(yī)生隨意給病人開處方藥，都將構(gòu)成重罪。即使藥店拿到了顧客的處方，也不是萬事大吉，必須查看其身份證明、登記家庭住址電話、明確有無醫(yī)療保險，還要給他建立檔案。做完登記后，顧客一般還會再等10分鐘，因為藥店會根據(jù)其需要和信息，對藥品進行包裝。藥瓶是半透明的塑料封瓶，上面的標(biāo)簽也是藥店專門制作的，會注明藥品名稱及種類、主要成分、可能的副作用、用法用量等。有時候這些信息顯得很“啰嗦”，比如有“切勿喝酒以免頭暈”“將藥丸咬碎，和水服下”等。除了用藥信息，顧客登記的身份信息也會標(biāo)注在上面，如姓名、性別、電話、住址等。
