第一次坐國際航班需要注意一下幾點。首先可以在網上提前訂好自己的座位（走廊的位置比較方便上衛生間），還有一些對于食物的特殊要求。例如，有專門針對素食主義者的食物。建議在飛機起飛24小時前給機場打個電話確認下行程有無變更。之后確認自己的幾個重要證件，護照、機票確認打印機（不一定需要，但有最好）。如果是留學生，還得帶上1-20（美國學校發給外國學生用來申請簽證以便進入美國的通行證，上面載明了持該表學生就讀的學校、系所、準予合法在美國居留的期限及提出財力證明的金額等重要事項），還有一定要備用零錢，大概200元人民幣和一定美元，因為在機場的免稅店里可以買兩條煙和一些必需品。另外最重要的就是國際航班需要至少提前3個小時到機場，因為安檢以及行李重量檢查比較耗時間，如果行李超重還得重新打包。最后就是拿好自己換好的登機牌和行李牌準備登機。
