在美國，不同地區(qū)的氣候差別很大。美國北部，尤其是加拿大邊境附近的冬天是很冷的，而且降雪很多，可以埋掉一輛汽車。因此，在冬天的時候，北部的人通常跑到南部避寒，弗羅里達和加利福尼亞都是不錯的選擇。北方大雪紛飛的時候，南方依舊是陽光明媚，有點像中國的黑龍江與海南島的區(qū)別。

不過到了夏季，南方的人也會去北方避暑，因為像弗羅里達和加利福尼亞的夏天又悶又熱。
