美國俚語——run up an account
“run up”是“高漲，迅速積累”的意思，那么run up an account就是快速積累一個賬戶吧！當然不是的。應該說恰恰相反，run up an account 是“欠賬，負債”的意思哦！比如說：Due to the poor management, their company run up an account.（由于經營不善，他們公司欠了很多賬。）
在日常生活中，難免要去銀行辦卡、開戶、存取錢等，你會用英語表達這些事物嗎？如果想要開戶，到了銀行，你可以這樣說：I should like to open a current account.（我想開一個活期存款賬戶。）當然也可以這樣表達：Can I open a current account here?
當你需要存錢的時候，可以說I want to deposit 300 yuan in my account.（我想在我的戶頭上存300元。）初次之外你還可以說I'd like to pay 200yuan into my deposit account.或者I want to deposit my paycheck.
有時候，需要把支票兌換成現鈔，這時候可以說I'd like to know whether I can cash a cheque here. （我想知道我能否在這兌換支票。）你也可以用“Will you please cash this trveler's cheque?”或者“I want to cash the balance of a traveler's letter of credit.”來代替。
錢有存就有取，當想要取錢的時候，就可以說：I want to withdraw 20000Yuan from my deposit account.（我要從我的定期存款中支取20，000元。）不過需要注意的是，如果支取金額比較的的存款，比如5萬元以上，可能要in advance跟銀行聯系哦。
