more than... 解析：
1.表示超過或是不只怎樣的意思的句型
根據more than后面接的語詞不同，又分為以下幾個句型搭配：
（1）句型“more than + 數詞”，表示“……以上、不止……”之意。此時，相當于over,兩者可以互換。
例句：
I have known him for more than 20 years.我已經認識他超過20年了。
（2）句型“more than + 名詞”，表示“不只是；不僅僅是”。
例句：
He is more than a famous artist；he is a director, too.
他不僅僅是個著名的畫家，還是個導演。
（3）句型“more than + 形容詞/副詞”表示“很；非常；尤其”的意思，此時，與very同義。
例句：
I am more than satisfied with the job.我非常滿意這份工作。
2.以上句型的相反句型
另外，與“more than + 形容詞/副詞”相反的句型是“less than + 形容詞/副詞”，意為“不、很少、不很、不到”，具有否定意義。
