首先，我們來看一下“ahead of schedule”這個詞組：
ahead of schedule 表示比原定計劃提早完成某事。
We can't afford to slow down , even though we are ahead of schedule .
雖然我們已經計劃 提前，我們也不能放慢速度。
The building project was finished two weeks ahead of schedule .
這項建筑工程提前兩周完成了。

ahead of schedule 的反義詞是behind schedule 。 behind schedule
表示落后于原定計劃完成某事。
We shall have to speed up the work or we will fall behind schedule .
我們要加快工作進度，否則就要晚于計劃時間了。
The plane landed ahead of schedule .
Our suitcases were the first ones on the conveyor belt in the luggage hall .
We found a taxi straight away .
Everything was going well ...until we got stuck in a traffic jam travelling from the airport into the city .
再來，就是“again and again”這個詞組了。
again and again 指反復地，強調已經做或說了很多次。
I warned them about this again and again , but they didn't take any notice .
這件事我已經再三警告過他們了，可是他們卻置若罔聞。
I've washed this shirt again and again , and the colours haven't faded at all .
這件襯衣我已經洗過很多次了，可它一點也沒褪色。
Fred's old pick - up got stuck in the mud .
Fred and his friend Mike tried again and again to get it out .
The pick - up just sank deeper and deeper and they got muddier and muddier .
If a friendly farmer hadn't arrived , I think they'd still be stuck .
