ear
The ear is the organ of hearing. A piece of light music is easy on the ear. We are usually all ears for big news.
The Chinese like to say that there are ears behind the wall when they think somebody is overhearing. To express this idea, English people use either of the two proverbs: walls hav ears and Pitchers have ears. They also think that little pitchers have big ears. Nice boys and girls respect other people. They will not secretly listen to other’s private converations.

Little pitchers have big ears
