Model Driver
Late one night the police were followinga car. The driver of the car was driving immaculately, newer going over the soeed limit, giving the correct signals and even being courteous to other drivers.
Eventually the police car pulled alongside and an officer said to the driver,” Excuse me sir, you’re not in trouble, we just wanted to compliment you on your exemplary driving.”
“Thank you, officer,” replied the driver,” I always make a point of driving especially carefully when I’ve had a few pints.”

夜晚，警察跟蹤一輛汽車，但汽車司機(jī)的駕駛卻無(wú)可挑剔；絕無(wú)超速、信號(hào)指示完美無(wú)瑕、甚至對(duì)其他車輛也表現(xiàn)得溫文有禮。最后交警靠邊停了下來(lái)，交警對(duì)汽車司機(jī)說(shuō)：“對(duì)不起，先生，您的駕駛沒(méi)有絲毫問(wèn)題，我們只是想對(duì)您好說(shuō)，您好的駕駛為他人樹(shù)立了榜樣。”而那人卻說(shuō)：“非常感謝。其實(shí)我每次喝上幾杯酒都會(huì)格外小心翼翼地開(kāi)車的。”
