A bad road
The roads in the suburbs are very bad,owing to the continual rainy days.We find puddles on the road here and there and it is troublesome for us to pick our way.Foreingners may well speak ill of our bad roads.

由于持續(xù)的雨天，郊區(qū)的道理路況相當不好。在路上到處可以發(fā)現(xiàn)泥坑，而且我們很難選擇道路走。外國人可以足夠的理由毀謗我們的破馬路了。

Full of rural life
Called on Mr.Ye who moved to Taichung.Though his house stands a little far away from the station,it commands a fine view.The place is full of rural life with a farm and rice fields in the neighbourhood.

去拜訪葉先生，他搬到臺中去了。雖然他的房子離車站有點距離，但是它俯臨著一片美好的景致。這地方充滿了鄉(xiāng)村生活的情趣，附近有一個農(nóng)場和一片稻田。
