A kentucky family took a vacation to New York City. One day, the father took his son into a rather large building; they were amazed by everything they saw-especially the elevator at one end of the lobby.

The boy asked, “What’s this, Pa?”

The father responded, “Son, I have seen anything like this in my life, I don’t know what it is!”

While the boy and his father were watching in wide-eyed astonishment, an old lady in a wheel chair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched small circlees of lights above the walls light up. They continued to watch the circles light up in the reverse direction. The walls opened again, and a voluptuous 24-year-old woman stepped out.

The father turned to his son and said,”Go, get your Mom.”

 

一家人從肯塔基到紐約市度假。一天，父親帶著兒子進(jìn)了一座大樓。他們對所見的一切都感到十分好奇——特別對大廳盡頭的電梯。

“爸，那是什么？”兒子問道。

那位父親回答道：“兒子，在我的一生中，從未見過那樣的東西。我不知道那是什么！”

父子兩睜大眼睛在一旁驚奇地看著。這時一位老婦坐著輪椅來到能活動的墻前，按了一下按鈕。墻打開了，那位老婦搖著輪椅穿過活動墻進(jìn)了一間小屋子。活動墻又關(guān)上了。父子倆看著活動墻上方的圓形小燈亮了起來。接著他們又看到圓形小燈又朝相反方向亮起來。墻又打開了，一位24歲體態(tài)豐富的女子走了出來。

父親扭過頭對兒子說：“去，把你媽媽叫來。”
