Jack No, not there. Where doulc they be?
Jenny What are you looking for, Jack/ Perhaps I can help.
Jack I’m looking for a pair of binoculars.
Jenny Did you buy them here?
Jack No, I bought them in the States before I came here.
Jenny Are you sure you brought them with you?
Jack I think so, but I guess I might have left them in the States.
Jenny Paula, have you seen any binoculars anywhere?
Paula No, sorry. You must have left them in the States.
Jack Well, I might have, but I don’t think so.
Jenny Oh, I know where they might be. Have you looked in the attic?
Jack No. I should have looked there first, shouldn’t I?
Jenny Well, they could be there, What do you want them fro?
Jack On the news, they said that there’s a comet that we might be able to see tonight, and they said binoculars might help. I’ll go and look in the attic.
Jenny OK>
Paula What’s a comet, Jenny?
Jenny It’s like a huge snowball, I think, that goes round and the Sun. And it can take tens or even hundreds of years to do one orbit.
Paula What does a comet look like?
Jenny Well, if you’re lucky, it looks like a bright star with a long tall.
Paula Wom, that sounds fun.
Jack I’ve found them.
Paula Good!
