PLANNING THE PARTY  計劃開發布會

Jack在公司。公司正在舉行會議，制定新產品發布計劃。Jack的上司West正在做會議總結。

Mr West  You have  all done very well. You have designed a really good product. We now have to make sure that we can make them properly, sell enough of them and deliver on times> Above all, we must plan ahead. First, we need to think how we will launch the product. Jack, can you deal with the press?

Jack       Sure. Should I prepare a press release?

Mr West   Yes, I think that would be a good idea.

Margaret   What about a launch party?

Mr West   Good idea. Who will organize that/

Margaret   I’d like to rty, if you think I can.

Mr West   Great. I’m sure you will do it very well.

Margaret  When should we have the party?

Mr West   When do you think we hsould?

Margaret   How about Friday?

Mr West   Do you think you can organize everything by then?

Margaret   I think so.

Mr West   Good. Friday it is then.

Margaret   Shall I invite the press to the party?

Mr West   Er, I’m not sure.

Does anyone have an opinion?

Ann      Well, if you do invite the press, you must make sure that you don’t forget anyone.

Mr West   Yes, we don’t want a bad report just because we forget to invite someone!

Paul      I think the press should be there.

Marget    So do I.

Mr West   Right. Marget, include the press in your list of people to invite.

Marget    OK.

Jack      At the launch party?

Jaclk     Yes, since the press is going to be there.

Mr West   Excellent. OK,any questions? No? can we all get together at the same time on Wednesday to see what progress has been made.
