Ｒ＝I’d like to ask you a few questions about your company. 我想問一些有關你們公司的事情。

Ｅ＝Sure. What would you like to know？對的，你想知道什么呢？

Ｒ＝Your company is based in Japan, isn’t it? 你們公司的總部在日本，是吧？

 

　　　Yes

Ｅ：Yes, it is. Our head office is in Japan, but we have sales subsidiaries in sixteen countries., plus fifteen factories outside of Japan. 是的，我們總部在日本，但是我們在日本之外的１６個國家都設有銷售分部，還有１５個工廠。

Ｒ＝Where and when was the company founded/ 公司是在什么時候哪兒成立的？

Ｅ＝It was founded in Osaka in 1937? １９３７年在大阪成立。

Ｒ＝What did the company initially produce? 公司最初生產什么呢？

Ｅ＝We started out making cameras, but later on we branched out into business machines.

公司最初生產相機，但是后來我們開拓進入了商用機器生產領域。

Ｒ：Ｗhat does the company make now? 現在公司生產什么？

Ｅ：Well, we still make cameras of course, but we also turn out photocopiers and printers.

    當然我們還從事相機的制造，但是我們也生產復印機和打印機。

Ｒ:And how has business been going recently?　最近公司的業務如何？

Ｅ:Very well. Ales are growing six or seven per cent a year, mostly in export markets and we opened a new office in China last

year.

E：Well, we do a lot of business in Japan, but the copany is actually based in Singapore.
