你好,詹金斯先生。一大早你要去哪里啊?
I’m off to the shops to buy some milk .
我要去商店買些牛奶。
Julia’s off to the United States for a holiday next week .
下周朱莉婭要去美國(guó)度假了。
Where ’s Daniel off to , I wonder ?
He’s in a great hurry . Daniel !
Sorry , Mum , I can’t stop . I’m off to have vet’s 。
再就是“be my guest”這個(gè)詞組了。
be my guest 是客套用語(yǔ),意思是請(qǐng)便,用來(lái)告訴對(duì)方不用客氣,可以隨便吃,用或拿你的東西。
' Do you mind if I borrow the binoculars ? ' 'Be my guest ! '
