A typhoon
Could not sleep well last night.Following the warning of a typhoon yesterday evening,a severe typhoon passed through the Hengchun district around midnight.The velocity of the wind was over 30 meters per second, and,the lights having failed,it was pitch-dark.Fortunately,however,it is said that no serious damage was done except for some floods which visited mountain districts.But it must have been a horrible experience for those living in the Hengchun area.

臺風(fēng)來了
昨晚無法安睡。緊接著昨天傍晚的臺風(fēng)警報后，一陣強(qiáng)烈臺風(fēng)約在半夜時通過恒春地區(qū)。風(fēng)速超過每秒30米，而且，由于停電，四周漆黑。然而，慶幸的是，據(jù)報除了山區(qū)的一些洪水以外，沒有造成重大的損害。但是對于那些住在恒春地區(qū)的人，一定是個可怕的經(jīng)歷。
