Being late
I must have slept too little last night because when the alarm clock went off this morning I didn’t hear it and I slept until it was nearly seven o’clock.When I got up I was surprised to see that the sun was already high up.Then I felt my blood racing to my heart. I quickly jumped out of my bed and shouted”Oh,my god, I’m going to be late.”Hurriedly, I put on my uniform,shoveled all my books into my bag,and in a flash was out of the house. I ran as fast as I could to the bus stop,but there was no bus.My mind was deciding whether to go by taxi or wait for the bus for another five minutes. I decided to wait.Fortunately before the five minutes were up a bus came.There were a lot of people on the bus. I was the last person who was able to squeeze into the bus. I was praying while on the bus that the bus driver would go faster,but it went on chugging along its route.
At last,the bus stopped at my school. I got off and rushed into my classroom in Englang Training Cengtre.Before I could catch my breath,the teacher took one look at me and then told me to stand in the corner.Everyone looked at me too.All my effort was useless. I think that I’ve learned my lesson today.Next time I’ll just take my time if I’m late.

遲到
因為做英語培訓學校布置的作業做的比較晚，昨晚我一定睡得太少了，同時因為今早鬧鐘響的時候，我竟然沒有聽見，而一直睡到將近七點才起床。起來時才發覺太陽已經高照。我一時心跳加速，急忙跳下床，大喊著：“天啊！我要遲到了。”匆忙穿好制服，把全部的書都塞進書包，閃電般跑出來，盡快地跑到公車站，卻不見公車的蹤影。我不知道該搭計程車呢，還是再等五分鐘。最后我決定等。很幸運地，還沒到五分鐘，公車就來了，滿載著乘客。我是能夠擠進去的最后一個人。在車上我一直祈禱司機開快一點，但是車子仍然沿著路線軋軋地走。
最后，車子停在我的學校了，我下車，趕快跑進優朗英語學校的教室。還沒來得及喘氣，老師就瞪著我，罰我站在角落。每個人也都看著我，所有的努力都白費了。我想今天我是得到教訓了，下回如果我遲到，我就干脆慢慢地走。
