Are you an “A” student ?
I went to palm beach Atlantic College in Florida, located on the Intracoastal Waterway, it’s only about a mile from the ocean, so students frequently go to the beach , even between classes.
One day I was meetirig with our dean, when he stopped and asked me if I was an “A” student.
Puzzled, I replied, “mostly, but why do you ask?”
“you have no tan,” he explained. “around here the darker the tan , the lower the grade.”
