Can’t Enjoy The Vacation
Mr. Young owned his own business and worked very hard. His wife was afraid that he would get sick if he continued like that, so she often tried to get him to take avacation.
At last she managed to persuade him to do this, but she was afraid that he \might not be able to enjoy his vacation quietly, so before they left, Mrs, Young went to see her husband’s secretary. She said to her, “My husband needs a vacation very much, so whatever happens,please don’t business prblems while we’re away. Just wait till we get back.”
After Mr. And Mrs. Young had been away about a week, Mr. Young received a letter from his secretary which said, “ Something terrible had happened to your business, but I’m not going to bother you with it now whicle you’re enjoying your vacati on.”
無法享受假期
楊先生經(jīng)營自己的生意，工作十分賣力。他的妻子擔(dān)心他總是這樣賣力會累出病來，因此常常勸他為自己放個假。
最后她終于說服了丈夫這么做。不過她怕丈夫不能安安靜靜地享受假期。于是在他們臨走以前，楊太太找到她丈夫的秘書，對她說：‘我丈夫十分個需要這個假期，所以我們走了之后，生意上不管發(fā)生什么事，都主伐不要用任何的電報或信件來打擾他，一切都等我們回來再解決。“
歌舞劇先生和太太離開了一個星期之后，他的秘書寄來了一封信，上面寫道：“您的生意出了嚴(yán)重的問題，不過在您度假期間我不想打擾您。”
